Structural Engineer – Residential & Industrial Building Structures
Job Description
We’re looking for a talented and motivated Structural Engineer to join our team! If you have 2–5 years of experience in a consulting environment and are passionate about designing innovative structures, we’d love to hear from you. This role offers the chance to work on a variety of exciting projects, including luxury homes, warehouse developments, and educational facilities in the commercial, residential, and industrial sectors.
What We’re Looking For
We’re seeking someone with:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Structural or Civil Engineering (minimum requirement).
- At least 2 years of structural engineering experience, preferably within a consultancy setting.
- Hands-on experience designing projects in the residential, light industrial, and industrial sectors.
Skills and Attributes for Success
To thrive in this role, you’ll need:
- A strong understanding of Australian Standard design codes, modern design techniques, and construction procedures.
- Proficiency with software such as Space Gass, RC Buildings, and Microsoft Office.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills to effectively collaborate with clients.
- Great interpersonal abilities for liaising with drafting teams, engineers, architects, and design managers.
- A proven ability to meet tight deadlines and deliver projects within budget.
- Enthusiasm, initiative, and a strong commitment to understanding and fulfilling client needs.
